Key Responsibilities:
The person in this position will be responsible for the following:
- Social media management: Manage all aspects of digital promotion of the designated programs all year round. Design of communications plan & strategy, identify innovative, efficient, and targeted communication channels, periodic activations, and digital awareness campaigns. Additionally, review content across partner NGOs’ social media channels.
- Website management: Work with the website management team & IT head to ensure timely & accurate updates, accessibility-friendly features, and all necessary modern functionalities.
- Digital activations & partnerships: Manage ongoing activations and develop innovative partnerships to ensure optimal user/audience engagement, advocacy of the programs, and ability to influence our audience to take steps to make a positive impact on the community and environment.
1. External: Manage all vendors and agencies (any form of outsourced work such as graphic design, copywriting, photography, UI/UX, videography, printing, etc.) to ensure an integrated marketing approach to program visibility and advocacy.
2. Internal: Coordinate with internal team heads & program managers and ensure all program updates, photos, videos, etc. are flowing in a structured and organized manner.
- Systems: Develop systems, forms, and records to document media activities; develop and implement a reporting framework to oversee the collection and maintenance of data and multimedia.
- Brand Identity: Ensure a single unified identity of the SBI Foundation is maintained across programs, projects, partners, and events. Coordinate with partners and ensure all digital collateral are SBI Foundation brand compliant. Sharing brand guidelines and briefing partners, vendors & agencies on the usage of logos, etc. Will also be responsible for the development and publishing of new digital assets (logos, taglines, GIFs, etc.). Ensure compliance with the social media guidelines of the SBI Foundation and parent organization.
The incumbent will also be involved in planning, budgeting, onsite-offsite coordination for key events, and communicating innovative ideas/changes for the overall MarCom strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Mass Communication or Management/Administration with 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing
(Or)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Media & Communication or Management/Administration with 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing Prior experience in the development or CSR sector will be preferred.

- Communication skills: Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to communicate key messages to specific audiences. Should be people-oriented, with demonstrated evidence of collaborative communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate empathically and transparently with individuals & organizations from varied backgrounds and perspectives.
- Project Management: Achieves project deliverables within the deadline, effectively manages own time and identifies conflicts/roadblocks, and finds a resolution. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work well and contribute effectively under pressure and in response to rapidly changing needs. Possess strong computation skills in Microsoft office suite & Google Workspace; strong organizational skills and detail-orientation, with a demonstrated experience in coordinating events in diverse, complex environments.
- Research & Data Analytics: Frames sharp research questions and collect relevant and accurate information/data from credible sources. Possess working knowledge in social media analysis, SEO, media spends (CPC & CPM) of digital branding campaigns, and website analytics. Skills in data analysis and visualization to design, analyze, and work with qualitative and quantitative data.
- Stakeholder Management: Understands the expectations of internal and external stakeholders and works to develop relationships towards a single goal/ project/ deliverable. Ability to communicate empathetically and transparently with individuals from varied backgrounds and perspectives.
