Position: Deputy Project Manager

Location: Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation

Salary: Rs. 24,000-34,000 based on experience and skills

Key Responsibilities

 Oversee the entire Early Child Education (ECE) part of the project.

 Assist and closely follow up on all program processes including planning, implementation, mentoring, training, documentation and communications related to ECE.

 Oversee and monitor the work of 2 mentors and 2 after care center in charges.

 Assist and mentor the ECE team for the entire project duration. Address any challenges faced by the team and guide them accordingly.

 Organize and conduct regular trainings for MBMC Balwadi Teachers.

 Observe mentor's interaction with teachers, facilitation skills, etc. and provide mentors with the valuable quality inputs

.  Ensure that the team working with children (after care in charges) and mentors are suitable supporting the caregiver agency and are constantly involved in the child's learning.

 In charge of all monitoring and evaluation processes for the Early Care and Childhood Education Component of the program

 Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively

 Willingness to grow and meet the changing demands of the job

 Ability to collect relevant and updated information

 Report writing and data collection

 Clear and open communication

Expectations

 Post Graduate in Early Childhood and Education, Social work or Human Development

 Minimum Experience of 2 years in preprimary education or managing larger teams in Social development sector

 Thorough understanding of preprimary education

 Proficiency in working with MS office, MS Excel, Powerpoint and connecting through online platforms

 Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English, Hindi/Marathi.

 Person needs to be self-initiator.

 Ability to persistently work with the stakeholders through the Pandemic
