Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the relationship for Roche in industry bodies, trade bodies, Diagnostics associations and leverage these relations to advocate for a conducive business environment through upcoming policies.

  • Inform and update Roche leadership, business teams and collaborate with other functions ( RA, MA, PA)  on upcoming policies and assess, mitigate the impact to businesses through advocacy.

  • Create a high performance culture for market access through active leadership and performance management of all direct reports.

  • Engage with relevant government agencies and public/private stakeholder groups on issues critical to business and to elevate Roche leaders in public policy forums.

  • Monitor, analyze and advise on the potential impact of key political, economic and policy trends /developments; and lead the development of policy solutions in the country and share recommendations to address as required.

  • Develop and execute advocacy strategies for immediate and long terms business concerns  and risks  and advance business opportunities in healthcare industry;

  • Position Roche as a diagnostic leader in Government engagements, forge strategic partnerships with states, and center to create new opportunities for business in government health programs like Hepatitis etc.

  • Explore opportunities, predict the impact and timing of potential business threats and shape company strategy around these (e.g., access, policy, etc.)

  • Collaborate with Access to develop and deliver integrated communication activities with government, political strategy and patient group advocacy

  • Motivate change with proven skills to influence business leaders and Government Affairs & Policy professionals to required outcomes.
