Job description |
- Support senior leadership in developing research and evaluation strategy under organizational mandate and hence assess the organizational requirement and develop the research and evaluation plan.
- Identify new research areas and support supervisor in take it forward
- Lead the designing the researches and evaluations under the plan
- Guide team members in developing the tools and its proper validations
- Supervise data collection process and guide the team for routine challenges during the data collection, data management and data analysis.
- Ensure documentation of researches on CSA and keep updating the organization of the new developments in policy and research
- Communicate the research finding to the organization in programmatic languages and guide them to improve the ongoing program and contribute in ideation
- Ensure that all research data related queries from Donors, Partners & Senior Management of Arpan are addressed in an accurate and timely manner
- Coach, train, and mentor the M&E as well as Program teams with the aim of strengthening their technical capacity, exchanging knowledge and providing professional development guidance in conjunction with the Director Research, M&E
- Support supervisor in collaborative efforts with peer organizations/institutions for researches in prevention of CSA

Specialized job competencies |
- Strong understanding on designing researches specifically experimental researches
- Strong understanding and experience on quantitative, qualitative and mixed research methodology.
- Strong command on data quality control and data analysis
- Well acquainted with one of the statistical packages (such as SPSS, STATA, and/or similar statistical analysis tool). Knowledge on SPSS is preferred.
- Very good in report writing and dissemination of research findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and collaboration skills; proven ability to be flexible in a team-oriented approach
- Strong hold on building team and own the program
- Proven writing skills in English, and Hindi.
- Experience in working with nonprofit organizations, specifically in child protection. Work experience in prevention of CSA will be preferred.
