PSI harnesses the vitality of the private sector to address health problems of the low‐income and vulnerable populations using social marketing to achieve positive behavior change by promoting ideas, products and services conducive to better health.

If you are thinking of entering the world of Public Health and have a strong desire to contribute towards making it easier for people in India to lead healthier lives, an internship at the PSI could be the ideal start for you.

The objective of the internship is to give you a first‐hand impression of the day‐to‐day working environment of the PSI. You will be given a chance to work on cutting edge assignmentsrelated to our ongoing projects.

For PSI, the internship acts as a mechanism to get youth focussed, diverse and fresh thinking infused into the organisation/ projects.

Who we are looking for? 

 You are atleast eighteen years of age on the date of application.

 Pursuing relevant qualifications (PhD/Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma) as per requirements.

 Open to contribute on a pro‐bono basis i.e. with No Stipend/remuneration.

 Be associated on “As and Where basis”.

What is your Assignment ? 

The actual assignment will be determined on the basis of relevance of academic qualification being pursued and area of interest for the candidate and requirement for the projects. At present, we will be offering only remote Internships i.e. Interns will not be required or expected to come to office but to work from home using their own equipment and internet facilities.

Candidates from across the globe are invited to express interest in specific areas of work for PSI like Health Financing, Social Media, Behaviour Change communication, IT solutions and digital technology, Monitoring & Evaluation, Data analytics, Knowledge management, Programme related work such as TB, Immunization, MCH and Health Systems etc.
