Qualification and experience
 Graduates in social work, sociology, public health or any relevant discipline

 Minimum of 3-4 years of progressively responsible professional experience in NGO sector specifically with private health care sector and vulnerable population
 Self-motivated and able to motivate others
 Commitment to public health values and TB control
 Commitment to quality work by self, by team
Roles and Responsibilities:
 Coordinate with National TB Elimination Program (NTEP) team at TU level in implementing the BTB project activities in the assigned geographies.
 Identification and shortlisting formal, informal and traditional community networks that exist within each of the vulnerable groups
 Conduct consultations, training and mentoring with CS and build their perspectives on health and TB, community role, patient needs and vulnerabilities and linkages
 Selection of key leaders and volunteers from each CS and build capacity of these leaders and support CS for campaigns/events to promote positive messaging on TB related stigma and discrimination
 Establish Patient Support Groups at DMC level in coordination with RNTCP
 Identify TB Advocates and build their capacity to advocate the TB patients
 Develop link between CS and Patient Support Groups and NTEP – other stakeholders as per the project requirements
 Identify potential empowered champions from among patients and caregivers within each of the vulnerable population groups
 Implementation of behavioral solutions model developed
 Co-ordinate with NTEP to conduct TB awareness activities in the general population of the intervention districts
 Participate actively in regular meeting with RNTCP-TU to share monthly progress of all the models and showcase KHPTs contribution
 Engage champions (including community level survivors) to address concerns around stigma related to TB and advocate for key support to those affected by TB
 Work proactively with the line manager to assess the gaps and plan to fill the same
 Document case-studies, good practices, reports and other documents as per the project requirements in preferred languages
 Any other tasks assigned by the line manager as per the requirement of the project
Reporting: The Community Coordinators will be reporting to the Project Implementation
Lead – District (PIL-D) of respective district/s
Remuneration: The remuneration for the above positions will be fixed in line with internal policies and market standards which will be fixed based on qualification, relevant experience,budget availability and interview performance.

The above position demands excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills and also involves travel. Preference will be given to candidates who have work experience in the relevant field and local candidates with required experience and skillsets.
