Sanctuary of Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship (SIIE), under the aegis of SRISTI Innovation at Ahmedabad, is a BioNest Incubation center supported by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Government of India.

SIIE BioNEST Incubation center is focused on nurturing technology and innovations from & for the grassroots innovators. SIIE is sector agnostic and supports innovation and innovators from multiple disciplines but focuses on agriculture, environmental science, food science & life sciences.

The mission and vision of SIIE-BioNEST are to become a sanctuary of knowledge for the marginal people with an extraordinary mindset and innovations. SIIE-BioNEST primarily focuses on nurturing, mentoring, and guiding Innovators with the necessary assistance and platform to take their innovation to the next level. Though SIIE-BIoNEST focuses on grass-root innovations, It is equally appreciative and welcoming of other Innovations and innovators.

We are looking for a person with solid leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and capabilities to do financial analysis, market research, and strategic planning to help incubatees in life sciences to achieve positive results for them in a time-bound manner. Ability to raise resources, mobilize professional networks for adding value to the technological solutions of high tech and grassroots innovators will be given special importance.  Empathy towards the grassroots innovators will be a distinctive quality.

Qualification and experience:

• A full time MBA from a leading institution with experience in dealing with  Biotechnology/life sciences/engineering startups
• 3 – 5 years of experience in mentoring projects in the fields of innovations from and for grassroots and incubation

Responsibilities

• Making business plans for small scale innovators, grassroots entrepreneurs, tech students, and other incubatees
• Develop a market for community-based herbal products of SRISTI Innovations, a Sec 8 non-profit company, and SRISTI Lab
• Mobilize resources for supporting ventures, creating value chain, and building a viable portfolio of the startups and the SIIE                (Sanctuary of Inclusive Innovations and Entrepreneurship), a Bionest incubator supported by BIRAC, DBT

Salary:

Up to Rs One Lac p.m [Consolidated and all-inclusive]
