Position: Head-Microentrepreneur Program

Organization: Wadhwani Foundation 

Location: Delhi/Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Microentrepreneur Program, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

2. Provide visionary leadership to drive the program's success and impact on job creation.

2. Program Design and Implementation:

1. Design and implement a scalable program to skill and support microentrepreneurs in sectors that would lead to family-wage job growth

2. Develop training modules, mentorship programs, and support mechanisms tailored to the needs of microbusinesses.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

1. Collaborate with government agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to enhance the reach and effectiveness of the program.

2. Build strong partnerships with educa;onal ins;tu;ons, business networks, and relevant organiza;ons.

4. Resource Management:

1. Manage program resources efficiently, including budget allocation, staffing, and technology infrastructure.

2. Identify and secure funding from government grants, private donors, and corporate partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in designing and implemen;ng impacHul entrepreneurship or economic development programs with deep exposure with micro-enterprises

• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by microenterprises and strategies for sustainable growth.

• Strong GTM skills for the microeconomics markets.

• Experience in working with communities to create platforms for Micro-Entrepreneurs

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to build and manage partnerships with diverse stakeholders.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in business or a related field with at least 15-20 years of work experience
