About you
As part of Nutrition International’s Asia Regional Team, the Program Director will be responsible for managing a portfolio of NI donor funded projects and for supporting new business development opportunities, primarily institutional fundraising in Asia. The position holder will also support the enhanced capacity of Country Office staff to manage new grants to grow the scale and scope of NI’s impact and influence in the region and secure financial resources for Nutrition International (NI). We are looking for candidates with demonstrated recent experience with proposal writing and grant development, either in a lead or supporting role, as well as proven ability to effectively manage donor grants and relationships at country, regional and global level. The ideal candidate will bring on board current knowledge of development issues, strategies, as well as programming policies and procedures in international development. The successful candidate will have proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan, and execute ideas, as well as to impart knowledge and help develop skills. We are looking for a candidate with experience in developing comprehensive proposals for projects funded by donors such as Global Affairs Canada (GAC), the U.K.’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the European Union, and others. Successful candidates will have proven experience in developing high-value winning proposals preferably in the fields of health, nutrition, and gender empowerment.
You are someone with a post-graduate/advanced university degree required in social sciences, international development, marketing, management, business or public administration, or related fields, required (Master’s level qualifications preferred). You have 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in project and grant management and business development , preferably in a not-for-profit environment. You are experienced in Donor Grant Management and Compliance, Donor and Partner Engagement, Project Development and design expertise, including developing logical frameworks, performance measurement frameworks and budgets with a proven track record of success developing competitive, high-value proposals. You have excellent writing ability and presentation skills in English.
