Deputy Director – Partnerships
(Business Development / Fundraising / Relationship Management)
Job Description:
● Develop goals and a plan for raising funds
● Execute a strategy for fundraising

• Organizing fundraising events
• Continuously expanding potential donor network

● Develop and execute a strategy for B2B marketing and sales

• Partner with institutions, corporates, NGOs, governments etc to offer Rashram training, research and curriculum

● Represent Rashtram at networking events
● Apply for awards and grants - both Govt and private
● Strategize and balance efforts with large donors versus small-donors
● Explore crowdfunding and other retail fundraising strategies
● Identify and explore donor pools and develop alliances

• Corporates
• HNI individuals/SME
• Grant agencies
• Bridge ecosystem - Social sector consultancies, etc

● Developing and managing donor relations

• Segmentation of donors and engagement strategy for the segments
• Manage existing donor relations and ensure continuity
• Inviting donors for important Rashtram events
• Sending gifts on special occasions
• Tracking their key milestones and engaging them
• Wishing them on special occasions
• Offering them some sponsorships for recommending candidates to Rashtram programs etc

● Content writing

• Write grant proposals
• Create corporate decks and outreach material
• Leverage and plan marketing strategies for fundraising, like emailers
• Apply for visible/prestigious awards

● Reporting and course correction

• Regularly Update fundraising status to the Rashtram steering team
• Keep funnel / tracker / CRM for latest updates
• Stay up-to-date on Rashtram strategy/initiatives and network

Competencies Required:
● Excellence interpersonal communication skills
● Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships
● Effectively and eloquently communicate the Rashtram vision, mission
● Effective public speaking, extroverted, and enjoy attending events
● Updated on social, political, and newsworthy topics in order to engage in meaningful conversation with potential donors
● Readiness to travel pan-India for networking, meetings and managing relationships
● Comfort with using technology to network, track and engage with the potential donors e.g. google alerts, social media, CRM

Base location: Rashtram Campus, Sonipat, Delhi NCR
Reporting to : Dean, Rashtram School of Public Leadership

Compensation : As per market standards and outcome-based incentives
