About End Poverty

End Poverty is a society organization registered in 2009 with a purpose to contribute to lower poverty reduction in India. They've been working in the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. End Poverty's main target groups are poor landless agricultural farmers, small and marginal farmers, traditional artisans, poor and needy women, girl child, unemployed youth etc. Capacity building and training are the most important achievements among others to support the diverse groups striving for change and a better future.

End Poverty is a professionally managed, forward looking, catalyst organization that designs & delivers customized, innovative and self-sustaining development programs which are replicable and create social impact.

End Poverty has identified four areas of program interventions: Sustainable Livelihood Creation, Girls Education, Rural Development and Civil Society development.

Job Responsibilities

As a freelance content developer, your responsibility includes the creation of high-quality publications, which can depict the organization's development sector learnings and findings. This will start with a single publication, which can further be extended to more projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management, vertical heads, and internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for developing a publication on the organization's 15 years of journey.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related trends, emerging technologies, and up-to-date industry practices to continually improve content quality and effectiveness.
• Ensure that your content complies with copyright laws, ethical standards and any relevant industry regulations.
• Manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines, delivering content in a timely manner.

Qualification Required

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field.

Competencies

• Writing Skills: Strong writing skills with a focus on clarity, creativity, and the ability to tailor content as per the target audience as well as industry standards.
• Communication Skills: Excellent storytelling abilities and expertise in non-profit communications. Creativity and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Writing Experience: Prior experience of 3-4 years in content creation, such as book publication, comprehensive writing, annual reports, brochure writing, other communication materials, or similar roles.
