Position: Head-Microentrepreneur Program

The Role Context As the Head of the Microentrepreneur Program, you will have complete ownership of a transforma;ve ini;a;ve aimed at empowering microentrepreneurs. The primary objec;ve is to skill and support 1 million microentrepreneurs with 2-10 employees, to generate five new jobs each over a five-year period, thereby crea;ng a total of 5 million jobs. This role requires a visionary leader with a passion for economic empowerment, a deep understanding of micro-entrepreneurship, and the ability to drive impact

Key Responsibilies

1. Strategic Leadership:

1. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Microentrepreneur Program, aligning with the overall goals and objec;ves of the organiza;on.

2. Provide visionary leadership to drive the program's success and impact on job crea;on.

2. Program Design and Implementaon:

1. Design and implement a scalable program to skill and support microentrepreneurs in sectors that would lead to family wage job growth

2. Develop training modules, mentorship programs, and support mechanisms tailored to the needs of microbusinesses.

Qualifica2ons:

• Proven leadership experience in designing and implemen;ng impacHul entrepreneurship or economic development programs with deep exposure with micro-enterprises

• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by microenterprises and strategies for sustainable growth.

• Strong GTM skills for the microeconomics markets.

• Experience in working with communi;es to create plaHorm for Micro Entrepreneurs

• Excellent communica;on, nego;a;on, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to build and manage partnerships with diverse stakeholders.

• Bachelors/Masters degree in business or a related field with at least 15-20 years of work experience
