The Opportunity
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a motivated, dynamic, inspirational, and experienced Operations and Quality lead to be involved with the implementation and operations of a world-class birthing centre in Bengaluru, India. The selected candidate may be required to work on other facilities and clinical specialities as required by the business of the company from time to time.
The Role
We are looking for a patient and efficiency focused hospital management professional who can lead the business, the operations and ensure high quality standards at the birthing center.
- Drive the business and achieve its objectives in-terms of patient volumes, revenues and operational metrics
- Streamline and ensure performance of all functionaries to achieve
- error-free activities in all processes and procedures
- To conduct administrative rounds of the facilities take corrective on-the-spot actions to rectify defects or deficiencies
- To conduct periodic audit of clinical and operational activities to ensure that the laid down procedures and protocols are practiced
- To interact with and help clinicians and nurses to achieve smooth functioning of clinical services.
- Promote technology absorption across all functions including patient engagement. Should b able to create and promote virtual care model for various services
- Support and promote clinical excellence and high standards of care which utilizes an evidence-based approach
- To ensure confidentiality of patients information and data.
- Help improve the performance of the team
- Provide a monthly report on the performance and various operational
- metrics of the center
Key skills
- Proficient in Kannada (Preferable) or Hindi
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- High levels of digital literacy
- Good leadership skills; able to mentor and educate
Qualification and experience
- Postgraduate in Management / Hospital management from a reputed institution.
- Preference shall be given to professionals with relevant experience in hospitals or boutique birthing / speciality care centers
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Must have had the experience of driving the business of a hospital or a speciality center
- Must have working knowledge of hospital quality systems and international best practices including NABH, JCI and others
- Experience in service planning, project management and performance monitoring and reporting
