Position: Research Assistant

Location: Palwal, Haryana

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent is expected to perform the following tasks:

• Perform sero-separation of the blood samples collected from the field using centrifugation process
• Storage of the samples following the lab protocol
• Routinely perform Lab maintenance activities, verification of the lab instruments
• Lab logistics management
• Generate daily results and reports from the external FTP server link provided by the outsourcing lab
• Perform routine quality control evaluation of the sample collection
• Maintain the freezers inventories and sample log books
• Perform calibration on instruments/equipment
• Monitoring and management of the bio medical waste disposal system
• Assist in the training of personnel on lab methods, instrumentation use, quality control procedures and documentation
• Assist in implementation of research projects on different aspects of laboratory
• Any other relevant duty assigned by Project Coordinator/Director

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science
• Masters/Diploma in Microbiology (Clinical)
• Fresher may also apply

Essential skill:
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of sample collection, testing, management and storage (2 to 8 degree and -80 Degree)
• Good computer skills and communication fluency in English and Hindi (verbal and written).

Desirable skills:
• Good knowledge of research methodology
• Training in phlebotomy/ good lab practices
• Experience of handling electronic data capture and its related processes

Remuneration: The incumbent will be compensated in terms of salary and designation comparable to industry standards.
