Position: Program Manager

Position Summary
As a Program Manager, the individual will be responsible for providing expert-level support to a designated group of principals and education officials and developing activities that will help them become effective leaders.
The program manager will also be responsible for thought partnering on program management & execution of the program with the senior leadership team. The program manager will be primarily be working on the below four areas:

•  Facilitate workshops
• Coaching school leaders and education officials
• Tracking program effectiveness
• Program customisation for implementation in schools context

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals, with experience in training and mentoring adults (working with government school teachers/school principals would be an added advantage). There will be multiple learning and growth opportunities within the organization for the candidate’s professional development.
The program manager should be comfortable with traveling to schools assigned across the state based on the needs of the program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Serve as coach to principal/supervisors which involves school visits, phone calls, and communication over email
• Support implementation of the training sessions
• Support school leaders’ achievement of goals
• Track school leaders’ progress to assess the effectiveness of support
• Assist in developing on-site support protocols, tools, and materials tailored to the specific needs of the school leader’s
• Build and foster relationships and collaboration to ensure support is effective ? Analyze School Leader’s practice through classroom observations/teacher feedback sessions, data analysis, and school and works with the School Leader on areas of Improvement
• Provide instructional and operational support to the Curriculum team
• Provide strategic input on the ongoing development of Alokit’s curriculum as per the project ? Collect data from school leaders to ensure the program objectives are being met ? Collect, analyze and report data to the M&E team to monitor effectiveness and workshop delivery

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree required, preferably a Master’s Degree in Education ? Minimum of 3 years of work experience, at least two years in the education sector
• Experience of working with government
• Telugu-speaking candidates would be preferred

Compensation
Salary range - 3,60,000 to 6,50,000 INR per annum
