Responsibilities
• Analysis of data received from finance and project management teams and compile reports for reporting to clients.
• Manage data through budget tracking and financial management tools for effective budget tracking and reporting to Athena’s clients.
• Create static and interactive data visualizations for our external and internal reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and data management.
• Conduct market research to support pricing for business/commercial proposals.
• Map potential vendors for office utilities & supplies and travel across the globe.
• Compiling contract information for consultancy and sub-agreements.
• Data/Knowledge management for project files to maintain audit-ready status.
• Supporting in Systems / Process strengthening.
• Support procurement efforts to procure necessary services and supplies on-demand basis.
Career Opportunity
• The role is anticipated to support USAID-funded project operations and can provide exposure in USAID project operations and management.
• The role is anticipated to evolve into a full-time position, successful completion of internship could result in full-time engagement in project management/operations team.
Desired Qualifications
• Master’s degree in management preferably in finance, general management, operations, or related field.
Skills/Competencies
• Some experience in data management or analysis.
• Workable proficiency in MS Excel and willingness to learn other analytical software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfort working with multicultural teams.
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
• Entrepreneurial attitude to handle challenging tasks, deal with ambiguity and shoulder responsibility.
