Position: Gender Trainer

Location: Nagaur

Job Requirements-

• Conduct a gender analysis in project area of Nagaur district.
• Develop and implement a clear and comprehensive action plan for gender activities.
• Design and implement training on gender-related topics including gender awareness in line with the gender policy of the donor.
• Ensure gender integration in the day-to-day activities from design to implementation.
• She/he will work with M&E Department to ensure gender indicators are fully incorporated into the project.
• Provision of training materials to be conducted to the beneficiaries.
• Represent SFL on gender-related events (meeting workshops conferences etc.) in Takhar and Badakhshan.
• Monitor gender progress and gaps on regular basis within the programs and proactively seek to guide and support programs in addressing gaps and challenges.
• Develop and share monthly and quarterly reports on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by program leadership.

Skills -

• Well experienced in conducting gender-related training, has undergone a Training of Trainees (TOT) course, and has conducted TOTs workshops, and hence can develop TOT for Gender Mainstreaming and development;
• Appropriate written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Previous experience working on gender issues/on protection projects with a strong programmatic focus on the rights of women and girls.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills required with the capability and willingness to travel within provinces.
• Experience using basic word processing and data software (MS Word Excel etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to write policy papers, speeches, and briefing
• Strong knowledge of program development, implementation, results-based management, and reporting.
