Responsibilities:
- Enable e-commerce capability within PC website and build related ecosystem readiness
- Provide technical inputs on the structure of the e-commerce portal to the IT developer
- Prepare product readiness by developing catalogue, product specification and descriptions
- Conduct photoshoot to make product e-commerce ready
- Build processes to train PC team on easy e-commerce onboarding
- Onboarding Producer Companies on PC owned E-commerce portal
- Onboard Producer companies(PC) products on the company’s e-commerce portal
- List products along with descriptions on the platform
- Plan and execute category/brand/product launch seamlessly by working closely with all the teams within the organisation
- Coordinate with Logistics and Operations teams (both internal and external) to secure timely deliveries and post-purchase customer experience
- Explore and implement best practices for marketplace inventory fulfilment; identify areas for improvement that can lead to cost savings, greater efficiencies and profitability
- Secure strong collaboration between external partners and develop strong internal relationships across functional areas such as merchandising, visuals, business tech, marketing, and logistics to meet revenue goals
- Develop and conduct training to the PC team on the e-commerce portal handling and fulfilment operations
- In charge of preparing relevant reports on a regular basis
- Channel Management and seller registration on other relevant e-commerce marketplaces
- Develop a solid understanding of how online marketplaces operate for relevant PC product categories
- End-to-End Channel Management of Online Marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
- Develop systems and compliances to meet the eligibility requirements for selling on the e-marketplaces
- Work closely with the PE team to plan inventory and ensure smooth operations
Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria:
- He/She should have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in setting up e-commerce operations for private D2C brands/SMEs- preferably in agribusiness, FMCG, handcrafted items, etc.
- Education/qualification: Degree/PGDM in marketing, communication and other relevant fields with solid project management experience within e-commerce
Skills:
- Software fluency: G-Suite, MS Office, familiarity with CMS, Inventory management software
- Desirable Traits: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, passion for building scalable e-commerce brands from rural areas of the country, entrepreneurial spirit
