Job description
- Support to marketing and sales teams through providing inputs on strategic positioning of products
- Contribute to new product launches by quality and timely inputs and contribute to positioning through literature surveys, clinical trials and pre-launch customer perception mapping
- Maintain highest standards of ethical and scientific promotion of products through scientific backup for all the visual aids and Leave behinds
- Gathers insights to inform medical, marketing and promotional strategies and tactics; Ensures connectivity and alignment with colleagues
- Support New Product Planning, Marketing, and Business Development colleagues with medical evaluation and recommendations on commercial opportunities with new products
- Enables smooth collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and conducts CMEs
- Responsive and proactively alert to issues related to competitor activities and facilitate effective and timely corrective actions
- Addressing medical queries raised by experts, associates and other customers related to the company’s products
- Provide medical training to new sales staff on basic sciences/ TAs/assigned products. Provide refresher training to sales staff through ongoing training initiatives
- Provide pre-launch and launch training to sales staff for new products
- Collaborate with National and International Societies / Organizations for medical consensus and publications
- Provide value addition to the marketing team by providing valuable insights in product knowledge.
- Preparing Draft Prescribing Information, Publish data, Regulatory agencies review reports and review of dossier for manufacturing and marketing application.
Knowledge, Skills Competencies / Language
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, drug discovery, research development, commercialization, promotion, and applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and guideline
- Communication skills, both written and verbal (including medical writing and presentation skills)
- Analytical skills and reasoning, and sound medical judgment/decision making
- Interpersonal skills, internal external networking and the ability to impact and influence
- Ability to think strategically and communicate clearly
- Interpretation of key scientific data and ability to translate this information to meet educational and research needs.
