The Opportunity
The Associate Consultant will be an integral part of our CSR Advisory team that advises corporate clients on their CSR strategy. The focus of our CSR Advisory is to help our clients achieve their vision and goals for social impact. Our spectrum of services range from strategic advisory, implementation – pilot and prove, scale up, assessments and audits, organisational development. Our consulting services team works in collaboration with the community based organisations and multiple stakeholders to co-create inclusive models on the ground
As an Associate Consultant, you will work closely with the team in designing the strategies of employee volunteering programs to meet our customers' needs and will have the following responsibilities:
Lead the employee volunteering program by building strong relationships with the client and working with the team to always deliver superior quality services.
Synthesize complex information, ideas and actively enabling avenues to co-create solutions with the client’s team which are aligned to their needs
Take accountability of overall delivery of the project and bring in sense of collaboration, trust and support to drive the team members to achieve success
Engage with multiple stakeholders such as 3rd party vendors, field partners, sectoral experts and build strong working relationships with them
Ensure that project activity, outcomes are aligned to business guidelines of Sattva
Oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing project including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling project activities
Key qualifications and experiences
We are seeking dynamic professionals who are outcome-focused, love problem-solving, are aligned to Sattva’s mission of alleviating poverty and have the below profile
Postgraduate in business management or an undergraduate degree in development studies or equivalent
2-4 years of experience in business consulting or in a fast-paced social enterprise.
Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable outcomes
Proven record of delivery results in a medium- to large-scale projects with a variety of stakeholders
Prior experience with corporates in event management/ volunteering or CSR activities or with organisations involving volunteer activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit team (demonstrating patience, tenacity and grace under pressure)
