• Support and coordinate for accurate and timely data collection, organisation, cleaning, and analysis for the organisation’s programs
• Review the quality of existing data for key program’s and supporting efforts to improve data accuracy and integrity.
• Review and analyse monitoring reports including dashboards and identify the causes and solutions for or data discrepancies.
• Support in documentation of various program results, processes, and success stories.
• Compile, analyse, and translate program data into impactful data representation and PowerPoint presentations for donors and research initiatives.
• Develop complex data analysis strategies such as stratified random sampling and sample size calculations, as well as perform statistical analysis (both descriptive and inferential) and provide input to reports, presentations and abstracts.
• Support operational and other research activities - Coordinating data collection in the field to test hypothesis and document results.
• Work independently to manage the on-going delivery of research projects.
• Critically review reports produced by peers, academics, and other agencies.
• Contribute to the publication of reports and articles.
• Respond to internal and external queries about research.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the organisation.

• An advanced degree in Public Health/Applied Mathematics/Biostatistics/Computational Biology -Course in Data Analytics is preferred.
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in public health industry. A thorough understanding of statistical analysis in a public health setting.
• At least 1 year of experience in supporting operational research protocols and conducting surveys and data collection in the healthcare sector is desirable.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and (ideally) SPSS.
• Experience of personally performing a range of complex research projects with a significant quantitative element.
• Experience of designing studies using a range of methodologies including experimental.
• Experience of analysing and consolidating large data sets.
• Experience of cleaning, organising, and analysing large data sets.
• Experience in translating data and analysis into tables, graphs, and narrative for reports, presentations, research papers and abstracts.
• Experience of critically reviewing and supporting improvements to written research papers/reports.
• Experience of writing and successfully publishing research in academic journals.
• The ability to apply a range of statistical techniques, including multivariate analyses.
• The ability to plan, design, and deliver creative and innovative research projects.
• The ability to analyse and interpret complex statistical data and technical information.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate complex and technical information with clarity.
• The ability to use computational statistical software tools, such as SPSS (syntax), R, SAS programming language and/or have other experience of programming.
• The ability to think creatively to solve complex technical research problems.
• The ability to be flexible and manage change and competing priorities.
• The ability to effectively manage resources and drive multi-functional teams.
• Result oriented and self-motivated person who can work under minimal supervision.
