What your role consists of
We are bringing a Head of People Capital on board early because we recognise that building the right ecosystem of values, behaviours, and processes will lay the foundations for future success. You will work closely with the senior Group management team, and be responsible for:
● Coach the CEO and the Board to make a next generation work culture.
● Stewardship of the Group’s core values and culture, to permeate across its companies.
● Representing the Group for external strategic communications.
● Fostering alignment across Group companies, to ensure our values and culture evolves positively as we grow.
● Building the best possible remote-first team, by creating world-class recruitment funnels.
● Creating a work environment which is conducive to remote-first collaboration.
● Maximising the personal and professional growth of all our people.
● Ensuring that strong employee retention is top of mind when decisions are being made.
● Factoring international differences into processes and decisions around recruiting.
● Designing processes and systems for efficient strategic people capital operations.
● Ensuring that Group companies are always compliant with labour regulations and laws across various jurisdictions.
● Keeping Group management abreast of evolving thought leadership in the space, and one step ahead of the organisation’s growth curve.
What you bring to this role
Our ideal person would have several of the following:
● 10 to 15 years of global work experience, ideally including Europe, India, and the USA.
● Prior experience of working in a Product focused software company.
● Strong knowledge of the people-related aspects of M&A, including due diligence.
● Familiarity with early-stage companies (Seed to Series C funded start-ups) and a variety of company cultures.
● Ability to identify organisational needs and areas for improvement, and to address these by guiding the development of better processes.
● Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance in the HR domain.
● Good insight into the HR tools and platforms preferred by nimble tech companies, and how these may be integrated into early-stage start-ups.
● Strong communication abilities, both in one-on-one scenarios and with larger audiences. Such that you can be relied upon to inform, persuade, educate, or entertain.
● Life experience in multiple countries or cultural contexts is desirable.
● Passion around sustainability, climate change, and energy transition is desirable.
