Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Agriculture /Rural Development/ Management/ or any other relevant subjects with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture or related programs.
• Excellent spoken and writing skills in English and Hindi.
• Experience in working with / managing larger-scale state-level projects (government projects in particular) is desirable.

Period of Contract:

2 years (Can be renewed based on performance and funding availability)

Compensation:

Will be around Rs.9.00 lakhs to Rs.12.00 lakhs per annum; commensurate with the qualification & experience of the candidate.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Overall coordination of the project, developing the program implementation schedules, supporting the team in their functions, tracking the physical and financial progress of the project activities, liaison and timely submission of reports to the Donors.
• Takes Responsibility for the delivery of the project objectives as per the design.
• The Project Coordinator will also anchor the responsibilities of liaison with the Departments of Agriculture, Rural Development and others as per the technical needs of the project such as the establishment of Technical Support Unit, NF Knowledge hub at the state level along with the team under the guidance of the project advisors.
• Coordinate with core partner organizations and the platform of the National Coalition on Natural Farming in taking up capacity building and policy development initiatives on natural farming.
• Coordinate and submit progress reports in the Project Review Meetings and follow up on the actions arising out of it.
