Position: Manager- Assessment

Job Responsibilities:

1. Designing and implementing assessments studies, including the impact and process evaluations

2. Identifying study objectives, review of relevant literature, developing data collection tools, quality-assuring of the data, analyzing the data, and presenting the findings to the team

3. Onboarding and training external collaborators for various parts of the assessment, if needed

4. Maintaining the database for the assessment as well as ensuring technical support for this

5. Produce findings, action plans and disseminate results via reports and presentations

6. Support the M&E team in reviewing frameworks and dashboards

Job Requirement:

● Master’s Degree or above; in social sciences, preferably in Education;

● Academic and/or practical familiarity with the socio-economic context of education in India and the situation of the Government schools there;

● Experience in research methodologies and building research frameworks;

● Familiarity with mixed methods of research;

● Interest in data and basic familiarity with some data analysis tools;

● Ability to work collaboratively with different teams, and also to take decisions independently under ambiguity

● Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

● Good command over English and Hindi

● Scientific temper to critically analyse data at micro and macro levels

Remuneration:
