Roles and responsibilities:
Milaan is committed to scale its program aims to create a more gender equitable world and is looking for a Manager - HR, to provide strategic and operational leadership to build and strengthen systems in HR/ people management, in turn
enabling organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
HR/People Management
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall organizational strategy
Manage the recruitment and selection process with Assistant Manager- HR
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal process
Build a people learning and development process within the organization
Engage in capacity building and the learning scope for the team in HR domain
Assess training needs and work with Training& Designing team to conduct training programs
Ensure all statutory compliance related to people engagement are followed as per the state and Government of India guidelines and the required statutory reports are filed on the timely basis.
Develop a talent acquisition process and ensure talent requirements are metwith excellence and within the timelines.
Support the Assistant Manager- HR in Employee Engagement programs for an effective working environment
Work closely with the HR team in building relationship with educational institutions
Prepare and manage a network of volunteer/interns engagement
To work closely with the management to adapt/update the best practices for the organizational welfare
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing concerns, grievances or other issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
● Master’s Degree in HR/Labor Law
● 6 to 8 years or more relevant work experience in human resources, with at least 3 years of experience in managing the team in HR.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Experience in leading and managing a team.
● Exposure to technology based tools for people management.
● Advance knowledge of Excel and Word.
● Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously; strong organizational skills and significant attention to detail.
