Position: Junior Therapist - Mental Health Services

Primary Responsibilities: ​

• Conduct individual counselling sessions with parents and children with or at risk of developmental disabilities

• Conduct family meetings

• Conduct group counselling sessions with children, parents and siblings of children with or at risk of developmental disabilities

• Documentation of sessions 

• Assist in short term and long-term training programs that the team conducts

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Psychology/Counselling

Essentials Skills Required:

• Must have good written and communications skills

• Must be open to supervision

• Must be comfortable to work within and across different teams 

• Prior experience of working with children and families will be an advantage

Reporting to: Senior Team Member - Mental Health

Others:

Ummeed would give preference to a candidate who is interested in putting in at least 40 hours per week. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
