Position: Facilitator Fellow

Organization: Quest Allaince

Job Location: Patna, Purnia, Madhepura, Supaul (Districts of Bihar)

Role Description:

1) Facilitation in ITIs

● Facilitation of Employability Skills, Self Employment and Career Development Skills at NSTIs.

● Plan time table, as per schedule given by the institute

● Take sessions and complete coursework as planned

● Conduct parents’ engagement activities

● Ensure you stay connected with students to help them with job openings and career support after they graduate

● Conduct Parents engagement & Career Day activities

2) Organizing Career connect activities:

● Implement all relevant career connect activities

● Planning and organizing the Young Entrepreneur Program at the NSTI

● Build an employer database of at least 5 employers per trade for each of the Institute

● Develop network of employers who can o er exposure, internships, apprenticeships, jobs;

● Organize placement events and ensure healthy training to work transition, with support from other team members

● Conduct market scan activities

● Be aware of your students and have a thorough understanding on who wants to work, who wants to study further and who's confused about post training decision

3) Monitoring and reporting:

● Use the appropriate M&E tools for reporting

● Provide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules. Ensure all the program report including case studies, photographs reach the M&E focal point at the stipulated time

● Support coordination of baseline/ end line and other assessments, as and when required.

● Collect student data from the Institutes to help with the compilation of the donor report. Ensure students data is updated in center database

● Make sure trainers and principal at the institute know about our work through simple monthly reports 4) Others

● Participate in team meetings and reviews, state engagement activities

● Seek regular capacity building support from team

● Adhere to all the finance and HR policies of the organization

● Uphold the values of Ǫuest Alliance

● Other duties or ITIs as required. Occasionally working on weekends and holidays for which time compensatory leave can be taken.

We are looking for:

● Candidates who are passionate about the challenges India is facing in education and employability domain

● Passionate about working with young women on employability

● Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player

● Ability to network and build a relationship with stakeholders Ǫualifications

● Post-Graduate or Graduate degree with experience of development sector

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi

Remuneration: 20,000 per month and other allowances
