Scope: The incumbent is responsible for providing the insights and expertise to support Management with setting up the CSR Strategy for the company. The incumbent will also be responsible for operational execution, tracking and reporting of the CSR Strategy
Roles and Responsibilities
- Propose the CSR strategy, policies and guidelines, in keeping with Senior Management Vision and ensure implementation and flawless execution.
- Acts as advisor to the business accountable management of the unit, in all CSR related issues.
- Conduct meetings with the NGOs and monitoring to track progress and evaluations as per the plan
- Work with a range of internal and external stakeholders on CSR reporting and meet deadlines
- Secure adherence to corporates social responsibility strategy as far as reporting in concerned
- Guide implementation and/or administration of Corporate Social Responsibility guidelines, programs and standards, in the organization.
- Develop policies relating to a company's ethical, balanced and environmental responsibilities, aligned with the Corporate outlook, ensure consistency with overall Company strategy and respective local regulations.
- Support the company to have a positive impact on local communities and the environment
- Raise public awareness of a company's social responsibility commitments through social media and conceptualising other marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing function.
- Creating partnerships with clients, employees, suppliers, charities, and other groups
- Organising community volunteerism events for employees and their teams
- Encouraging links between the company and educational or charitable groups
- Supports and builds employee involvement in the organization's social responsibility initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate would have a Masters degree in Social Sciences or related fields, with minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Social responsibility area.
- Must possess global insights into community, volunteering, corporate citizenship and how these ties into strategy and drive business impact
- Knowledge of Market Practices in CSR field and amongst other corporates
- Experience of working in CSR with measurable business and social results will be preferred
- Previous work experience in a fast-paced, high-growth industry environment and a multinational organization is desirable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Regional Leadership, Business Heads and Senior Managers
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills in English
- May contribute to coordinate appropriate content creation.
- Participates in conversations in social media.
- Supervises online & social media communication and feeds it back into the organization.
- Consults internal community on relevant developments.
- Researches and writes articles, blogs, social media posts.
- Resolves messaging and develops content for internal communications channels in collaboration with the marketing department
