Position: Program Head Livelihood Development

NEDAR Foundation is a Section 8 company, which works with Persons / Entrepreneurs with Disabilities, their Network, other marginalized groups and organizations with similar objects, to empower them to be part of the entrepreneurial eco-system through capacity building and linkages to business opportunities to conduct and grow their businesses “at par” as contributing citizens
We are looking to recruit a Program Head for Livelihood Development in urban and rural settings.
Key responsibilities in this role are (indicative and not limited to):
• To work with Entrepreneurs for
o Capacity Building, Business Counselling and New Business Models to Start, Sustain and Scale their businesses
o Financial inclusion by connecting and working with Banks and Financial Institutions
o Identifying and sharing New Business opportunities and Business Ideas
• To develop knowledge, content, training modules and methodologies for Entrepreneurial Skill Development, Mentoring, Business Counselling, Business Plan preparation and Pitching by the Entrepreneurs
• To grow the NEDAR (Network of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities for Assistance and Rehabilitation) by enrolling more members and also by expanding the network to other geographies
• To develop Budgets, Implementation Plan and execution strategies for all activities and services
• To network with Funding organizations, actively seek and obtain Funding support for various Projects planned by the Foundation
• To establish effective organization and manning for implementation
• To co-ordinate, supervise and manage all activities of the Foundation, including financial and administrative aspects, as per delegation
• To engage with various eco-system players and Partners in the entrepreneurial space to further cause of the Foundation and that of the Entrepreneurs
• To ensure effective PR / Communication / Branding – Digital and offline, for the Foundation, its services and also of the Entrepreneurs as per Policies of the Company
• To develop and ensure appropriate documentation, MIS reports, Impact evaluations, Success Stories etc. as per requirement
• To establish proper systems / processes and protocols for all activities of the Foundation

Key requirements
• MBA or Post Graduate with significant experience in social sector on entrepreneurship area
• About 10 years of relevant experience (in Industry Associations / Social Sector organizations working on economic empowerment of Persons with Disabilities/ marginalized groups
• Good entrepreneurship training and business counselling skills
• Good communication skills (written & spoken) in English and Hindi
• To be entrepreneurial and self- initiated
• Knowledge of Govt. and other Schemes for Entrepreneurs under MSME / Banks etc.
• Excellent Net-working with Corporates / Industries / Organizations / NGOs etc.
• Excellent skills in IT, Digital & Social Media engagement and management
• Hard working, sincere, innovative, empathetic, energetic with proven Leadership Skills
Only Persons living in / desirous of living in Delhi / NCR will be considered; This is a full-time assignment; requires travel locally and outstation where needed. All things remaining equal, preference will be given to Persons with Disability. Retired Professionals, passionate to work for the cause and meeting the requirements would also be considered.
