Position: Manager(Volunteer Action) HO

Your Role:

• Your role will seek to promote volunteerism amongst the target stakeholders and will be responsible for conceptualizing and evolving the content for volunteer action initiatives and ensuring the scalability of the same across regions by providing policy, advocacy and technical support to the regional teams.
• This role also supports regions in developing and delivering effective campaigns and advocacy for multiple issues to achieve maximum results in furthering VA’s purpose.
• It will also entail facilitating documentation, collating periodic snapshots for the department and processes and discussions such that we spearhead initiatives like citizen’s campaigns, to enable people from all walks of life to take responsibility of the situation of children in their sphere of influence.
• With room for experimenting, innovation will be the key to bring in individuals & organisations and engaging them in meaningful and effective individual and collective action towards promoting child rights in the country!

You:

• You must be a Masters in Social Sciences/ Social Work/Management/Mass media having 5 to 6 years of experience with desirably 2 to 3 years in working on citizen engagement programmes and campaigns
• A basic understanding on child rights issues is expected. Ability to do data analysis, conduct stakeholder analysis, making summary reports periodically and design volunteer engagement programs to suit the requirements is essential.
• Sharp understanding of social media functioning and campaigns will be an added advantage. Flair of writing and pro with varied documentation formats for dissemination is a must.
