Position: PVK  coordinator

Organization: Vrutti

Location: Five positions, one in Davangere,one in Channagiri, one in Ranebennur, one in Hosadurga and one in Chitradurga District Davangere, Karnataka states.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
o Selection the villages as per criteria
o Identify and select the Gram Sakhis, AITs
o Identify the ShwetDhara members and promote SD groups in villages.
o To create awareness and impart training to AI workers, Gram sakhis, SDG members and Farmers.

o Keeping and maintaining data and records of the training and its impact.
o Target achievements of PVKs for AI, input sell, revenue generation, etc.
o Demand generation of input through GS and generate the PVK business
o Ensure uninterrupted supply of inputs to GS and AITs as per their demands
o Timely Levy collection from GS and AITs and deposit to PVK Bank account.
o Ensure levy deposits to PVK bank account after calculation of MIS
o Promotion of FPO at PVK by following appropriate protocols and processes
o Help in conducting the surveys as and when required to know members, satisfaction/ NPD/New
product introduction
o Launching new services, new products, need assessment, preparing business plans, setting up
customer feedback mechanisms etc.
o Manage the PVK level accounts and appraise to cluster level MIS & accounts on regular basis
Scope of work:
● Imparting trainings to AI workers,Gram sakhi and Farmers
● Collection of primary data from villages
● Keeping record of the Trainings and its impact
● Formation of SD group at villages and FPO at PVK level
● creating awareness among the Farmers
● Promotion of sales inputs and services
● Maintain and update all data related to Training.

Desired Experience & Skills:

● Graduate or Post graduate in Agricultural/Horticulture or related field with experience in the
development sector.
● Minimum one to three years of experience working in Agriculture Livelihood domain
programmes.
● The candidate should be able to communicate, read and write in English and state language
● Personal flexibility and high motivation to impact the team and farmer collectives.
● Good communication and reporting skills in local language and English
● Proficient MS office skills & internet
● Time to time guidance and support to PVK team to perform their role

Travelling requirement: This job involves regular travel within the Project villages

Salary range- Commensurate with qualifications, experience and present CTC
