Position: Quality Consultant

Location: Bilaspur

Minimum requirement: 

  • Graduation with clinical (medicine, ayurvedic medicine, homeopathy medicine, paramedical, nursing) background with formal education from a recognized university. 

  • Master's in Public Health Administration 

  • Ability to verbally communicate in Hindi 

Desirable Experience/ Knowledge:

  • At least one year clinical experience in government or private health facilities especially in Maternity and Child Health.

  • Experience of Hospital administration/working in a hospital i.e. candidate should know the organogram of a government facility, departments and health service delivery system. 

  • Experience/Knowledge of Quality Improvement (QI) Processes - Gap identification, Process mapping, RCA, PDCA etc 

  • Experience of training and creating training material according to the target group 

  • Understanding of public health programs 

  • Knowledge of information systems used by the govt to collect data Ability to analyze datasets 

  • Prior experience of using work-related apps, Google Drive, Trello, Excel, Word, Powerpoint

  • Experience of working with govt officials 


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Mapping of designated health facility using SWOT analysis

  • To measure baseline indicators of health facility 

  • Assist facilities to improve the overall quality of maternal and neonatal care services against defined standards and measurable elements given by national quality assurance guidelines.

  • Identification of gaps by making hypothesis, assess the gaps using tools and suggest solutions  

  • Process mapping and gap-filling by applying P-D-S-A method  

  • Design a need-based project of quality improvement and facilitate the project

  • Develop action plans with coordination of Civil surgeons, medical officers, in charge of the various departments of district hospitals and monitor compliance. Support them to execute the plan. 

  • Train/mentor health providers of various levels in operational aspects of outreach RMNCH interventions, and to mentor subordinates.

  • Establish collaborative relationships with formal and informal stakeholder groups to achieve program impact.

  • Identify problematic issues that require immediate attention, prioritize it and take appropriate action.

  • Support Government official to implement LaQshya Program 

Salary

Pay Scale- 29 - 34K (based on experience)
