Position: After Care In-Charge

Location: Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation

Salary: Rs. 12,000-18,000 based on experience and skills

Key Responsibilities

 Manage teaching and learning interactions with 25 preschool aged children.

 Plan activities to keep children between the age of 3-6 years engaged.

 Conduct online sessions and activities with the children.

 Interact effectively with children, caregivers and other stakeholders of the Program.

 Conduct regular meetings with the children’s parents and caregivers.

 Actively attend and participate in all the trainings and meetings and other program processes.

 Effectively interact with young children, reflect and make necessary modification in facilitating sessions.

 Update reporting manager of any challenges being faced while working with children and come up with effective solutions.

Skills and Qualities

 Skills to effectively work with young children in the age group of 3-6 years.

 Planning innovative and engaging activities for the target group

 Working with the family of the child as a whole.

 Ability to conduct online classes/sessions for children using platforms such as Google Meet/Zoom.

 Ability to document child's work using Microsoft excel and word.

 Comfortable in using technology and operating emails for communication and data sharing.

Expectations

 12th passed onwards are eligible for the role. Graduates preferred.

 Should have completed a short course in early childhood education and/or 6 months/1 year experience as an early childhood teacher.

 Openness to understand the changing paradigm of preprimary education.

 Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English and Hindi/Marathi.

 Person needs to be self-initiator.

 Ability to persistently work with the stakeholders through the Pandemic
