Position: Senior Manager

Primary Duties:
- Lead the funder reporting process in Breakthrough
- Responsible for developing and delivering on a robust plan for communication to increase Breakthrough’s influence and perception which will assist the development of fundraising, partnership and marketing plans
- Translates complex analysis into well-structured and comprehensible presentations and recommendations for corporate communication and marketing initiatives
- Analyse research and evaluation findings, develop reports, and present data for internal and external stakeholders
- Effectively communicate qualitative and quantitative data to inform campaign activities or a policy agenda
- Contribute in writing funding proposals by providing insights based on evaluation data and research studies
- Contribute to the strategic content creation process for a range of audiences with a goal of broadening our reach and establishing our voice through a variety of platforms
- Commitment to reading and staying updated on research and data relevant for Breakthrough’s work
- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials, including reports, posts, newsletters, publications
- Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner
Desired Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- A master’s degree /diploma in communication, journalism, public relations and related fields
- Master`s degree in gender studies, public health, or related field preferred
- 12 -15 years of experience in developing information/education/communication materials, documentation and report writing with proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Proven success in developing and executing innovative and highly leveraged communication strategies, including direct senior level experience in branding and communications and ideally, fundraising or income generation
- Possesses the unique ability to visualise and translate complex research concepts and program evaluation data into innovative communication materials
- Good at data analysis, data visualisation, and has the creative skills to create aesthetic and compelling visuals from that data
- An impeccable writer and a storyteller. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Proactive and able to stay effective while managing shifting internal expectations
- Able to prioritize and manage large amounts of information relevant to the work while meeting demanding deadlines
