Position: Public Health Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- The Public Health Coordinator will work with State governments and healthcare facility staff to support setup of oxygen equipment in healthcare facilities. Specifically, the Public Health Coordinator will:
- Provide technical assistance to states for setup of oxygen equipment in the state.
- Visit districts for monitoring project activities and provide Technical Assistance to districts for oxygen generation plant establishment, oxygen inventory assessment and identifying training needs of the district functionaries.
- Facilitate the capacity building of the State, district & facility level functionaries on various components of oxygen management.
- Provide handholding support to districts and facilities for the site preparedness for PSA plant establishment.
- Liaises and manages stakeholders at the district level involved in project activities.
- Knowledge of supply chain management in healthcare will be an asset.
- Manage and coordinate diverse tasks and facilitate relationships among multiple stakeholders.
- Work with a high degree of autonomy and independence in line with project goals and objectives.
- The candidates must be self-starters and committed to performing their duties with minimal direct and day-to-day supervision.
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and report on project success criteria results, metrics.
- Undertake other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time.
- Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
- Completes detailed strategy write-ups, work plans, reports and deliverables from stakeholders and all other reporting requirements.
- Available to travel at district level up to 60% of the time.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ Social Sciences/ Public Health
- 3-6 years of progressively responsible leadership roles in the design and/or delivery of public health programs and research.
- Computer proficiency with familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook & Web surfing to search relevant data & documents.
- Fluency in English and ability to converse in local language.
