Specific job responsibilities will be:
Donor acquisition
- Building relationships with existing agencies to understand their business operations and increasing fundraising portfolio.
- Analyzing business performance to ensure business is ROI positive
- Identifying and on-boarding new fundraising agencies to increase revenue
- Training, motivating and mentoring agencies to ensure fundraising targets are achieved
- Improving operational processes and building trust to ensure that Breakthrough has a competitive edge
- Responsible for managing in-house face to face fundraising center with special focus on lead generation, new donor acquisition and achieving set targets as per the objective of the organization.
- Train, coach and mentor the team to build capacity of the team members and develop long sustainable quality donor base.
Donor retention
- Ensure that donor delight and engagement are at the forefront of everything that we do from the first interaction onwards with the donor to deliver a robust welcome and recognition plan.
- Manage the tele fundraising program which focuses on increasing contribution of existing donors and also renewing contribution from lapsed donors.
- Oversee the donor service function and design appropriate matrix for core activities such as thanking, banking donations and responding to donor enquiries.
- Build a solid understanding of our donors using data and research to build insight, define different segments and tailor communications accordingly.
- Produce regular reports, draw conclusions and make recommendations to improve future activity and feed into longer term strategic plans.
- Communications planning and implementation across a range of channels.
Other:
- Preparing the MIS reports and coordinating for the same with Finance team and donor operations.
- As a senior member of Fundraising team provide strategic input to the overall fundraising plan.
- Keep up to date with sector trends and market developments.
- Manage relevant documentation and approvals for the function.
- Coordinating with all concerned departments and resolving queries, issues with a quick turnaround time
Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:
- 11- 15 years of experience in acquisition & retention.
- Post graduate will be preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
- Ability to take initiative to develop new strategies and outside-the-box idea
