Work Performed:
- Build working relationships with organisations and institutions who can be the potential employers for the students of Rashtram
- Develop insights about the job market through primary and secondary research and help the top leadership prepare corresponding operations strategy
- Be the guide and solution provider to the students of the RSLP. This will also include taking charge of the capacity building of the talent to face the recruitment process.
- Keep a track of opportunities which may be aligned to the aspirations of the students and prepare effective strategies to successfully achieve the targets.
- Counselling learners with personal and/or academic problems related to their placements, and assisting learners/employers experiencing placement difficulties. This requires specialist knowledge of recruitment criteria, the capacity to assess learners’ abilities and profiles, and sensitivity to learners’ personal circumstances.
- Advising companies on choice of candidates, arranging interviews (or coordinating recruitment process), and facilitating the engagement discussion once the selection is done with the purpose of meeting the needs of the employer and the student. This requires initiative, planning and tenacity, plus a high degree of understanding of a range of leadership functions and the content of the academic programmes.
- Create and maintain a database of Alumni, their present position and recruiting organizations.
- Arrange for expert lectures and workshops by industry professionals
- Collect feedback from organizations coming for placement
- Contributing to the preparation of placement brochures, handbooks and other literature for the institution
- Perform related duties as may be assigned.
