Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising:
· Ensure development and implementation of the fundraising strategy for meeting income targets from all revenue sources with special emphasis on individual retail fund raising and also the HNI segment specifically.
· Identify research, plan and improve fund raising, growing the pipeline of new prospects with proper data mining techniques
· Evaluate trends in the fund raising market and accordingly design & mix activities, products and related campaigns & events.
·Effectively use social media to reach out to stakeholders.
· Develop and implement effective systems and processes for fundraising and donor relations. Overall responsibility for managing donor relationships.
·Manage the Oxfam brand with the aim of enhancing brand value / recall in India through innovative techniques.
·Responsible for capacity building of all staff of fund raising team
· Overall responsibility for developing & achieving of annual budget. Ensure the effective use and proper administration of resources for agreed purposes.
· Ability to strategize & envision long term growth path for fundraising vertical in line with overall Oxfam goals and be able to convert it into a systematic implementation plan
Communications:
·Responsible for developing and leading a communication strategy and execution as part of the fund raising strategy in collaboration with the public engagement team
·Working in close coordination with the PE team, responsible for communication plan, content ownership, PR strategies and branding support for all events from the fund raising perspective
·Capacity building of Oxfam India staff in fund raising leading the campaigning work to maximise fundraising efforts and build Oxfam India’s brand image
Skills:
1. Minimum 15 years of experience of which at least 3 years is at a leadership/senior management level in a development organization with a successful record in leading and managing fundraising and/or sales strategies and teams
2. Preferably Master’s Degree in Public Relations/Marketing/Mass Communication or equivalent
3. A good understanding of the donor profiling and consumer behaviour in a changing society.
4. Strong numeracy and ability to interpret financial data, budget and to monitor income and expenditure.
5. Understanding of different fundraising channels like key account sales, DRTV, Face 2 Face, Telemarketing, Direct Mail, online, etc.
6. Ability to engage and build relationships with institutional and corporate donors
7. Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a large delivery oriented team
8. Have a robust understanding of development sector.
9. Knowledge of the socio-economic and political context of the country.
10. Basic understanding of social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and experience in drafting professional posts for the platforms.
11. Excellent communication and articulation skills
12. Computing skills (should be fluent in MS Office, especially Word and Excel and electronic communication).
13. Ability to Lead, Inspire and Motivate a large teams.

16. Knowledge and skills in financial analysis and management.
17. Experience in using social media
