Job description
As CARPE | EcoSattva scale work in all the three verticals (Solid Waste Management, Green Cover Management and Waste Water Management), they are looking for a dynamic, motivated and self driven individual in the leadership team. The primary role of this individual is to build relations and provide strategic direction to help the organization grow across all the three verticals. They are looking at someone with great interpersonal skills and results driven approach to help the organization grow strategically.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Strategy
- Be an effective part of the Leadership Team and work towards building and implementing the scaling strategy of the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the organization’s overall business model and financial position with the aim of building on existing income streams and identifying new sources of finance to support our organization.
- Conduct market research and recommend improved strategies to improve market reach .
Fundraising and Partnership Development
- Lead the development of new fund opportunities informed by research, learning and operational practice within the organization.
- Proactively source new business opportunities including leading on responses to all tender opportunities.
- Develop and apply best practices to identify, evaluate and promote cross linkages and partnerships .
- Maintain and strengthen donor and client relationships.
Leadership
- Manage a team that will work towards the strategic growth of the organization.
- Motivate, coach and train to enable the team to achieve their KPIs.
- Assist from time to time in the recruitment of staff across the organization.
- Represent the organization at national and international forums while being well versed of the vision and goals of the organization for prospective donors and clients.

Must have:
- 6+ years experience with Business Development with a good understanding of Business and Finance.
- Past experience working with a fast-paced growing organization and scaling operations.
- Past experience conversing with government bodies or investors or for CSR.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with traveling for work and staying in Aurangabad for the first year.
Good to have:
- Past experience working with waste management/ green cover/ wastewater or an interest in the sector.
