Recruitment for the post of Senior Programme Coordinator (Health Systems Strengthening)

About the State Health Resource Centre:

State Health Resource Centre (SHRC) provides technical support to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Chhattisgarh with the aim to strengthen public healthcare services in the state. It is an autonomous institution set up in the year 2002.

About the post: 

The SHRC is looking for a self–driven person with proven leadership qualities to head Health System Strengthening (HSS) Division of SHRC.    The key responsibilities of the incumbent will include the following:

• Developing policy and situational analysis papers on identified public health domains and identifying measures for policy and operational reforms
• Assisting the Health Department in preparing/revising rules to facilitate strengthening of the government healthcare delivery system
• Carrying out rapid field assessments and evaluations of government programmes and other research relevant for developing relevant policies
• Facilitating Capacity Building programmes for Human Resources in Health

The incumbent will report to the Executive Director and will be supervising the work of a team of about 8-10 professionals at SHRC headquarters at Raipur. However, the work may involve frequent visits to districts.

Eligibility and qualifications:

MBBS with Post Graduate qualification in public health/health management, with at least 5 years of experience

Or

Under graduate degree in health related fields with Post Graduate qualification in public health/health management with at least 7 years of experience

Must have good analytical and writing skills.

Age:   Preferably below 45 years of age 

Salary:  Salary will be in the range of Rs 60,000 to 90,000 per month, commensurate with qualification, experience and last pay drawn.
