Consultant- MNCH

Location: Delhi , Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify key goal, objectives, and priorities of government led MNCH, Nutrition, PAC/CAC programs: Interact with state level authorities and stakeholders to understand key objectives and priorities driven by government for MNCH and Nutrition, PAC/CAC programs at the state level

• Conduct a landscape mapping of all the prominent partners working at state and city for MNCH and Nutrition, PAC/CAC programs across 5 identified states UP, MP, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand

• Identify and prepare the list of common and unique stakeholders for FP and MNCH and Nutrition, PAC/CAC at all levels of providers and decision makers in the city and state level (In order to leverage resources efficiently and effectively).

• Conduct a comprehensive mapping exercise for MNCH and Nutrition, PAC/CAC interventions at primary, secondary and tertiary level facilities in 2 cities of UP, Bihar and Jharkhand each

• Prepare the list of MNCH and Nutrition, PAC/CAC interventions that currently exist (and in what format are these available), at each level.

• Prepare a list of MNCH and Nutrition, PAC/CAC interventions that 1) identifies which interventions complement TCIHC’s FP program and how they align with existing service delivery, advocacy, and demand generation interventions and 2) which MNCH and Nutrition, PAC/CAC interventions would be standalone outside of the current FP/AY program but can be codified and added to TCI University.

• Identify if and how all identified interventions align with WHO HIPs

• Recommend existing best practices among MNCH interventions and also identify interventions that can be codified • Recommend MNCH, Nutrition, and PAC/CAC interventions that can be integrated with the existing family planning program

• Identify MNCH, Nutrition, and PAC/CAC schemes and interventions which can be leveraged by FP program both in terms of monies and resources • Detail out the PIP budget for MNCH, Nutrition, and PAC/CAC programs in the 5 identified states

• Submit a detailed report, based on observations and supported by data and facts and with all supporting annexures on above listed tasks.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Post-Graduate with at least 8-12 years of relevant experience in MNCH and FP programs

• Knowledge of MNCH program execution combined with research and analytical tasks

• Have an experience of preparing quality reports

• Field experience of interacting with all levels of government staff and stakeholders, comprehending and assimilating information.

SKILLS:

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English and Hindi and to engage people in dialogue to seek desired information

• Strong ability to interact, gather, collate and analyze information

• Eagerness to learn and set accountability for self to deliver quality results on tight timelines

• Computer skills

• Ability and willingness to travel to few locations
