Job Overview:

We are searching for a candidate who is passionate about leveraging data and technology for social good and have prior experience in working in the Microfinance, Banking, Financial Inclusion or Fintech domain. The job entails managing the entire MFI account including business requirement gathering, IT feature documentation, budget estimation, software development coordination and overseeing tech implementation and providing IT support and maintenance to one of our microfinance clients and their field staff. The candidate should have a good knowledge of MFI concepts (JLG principles, KYC, Credit Scoring, Loan Management) and knowledge of tech tools in the MFI domain (eg: Finflux).

Essential Technical Requirements:

• Knowledge of the Financial Inclusion and Microfinance domain
• Knowledge of software development life cycle. Preferable from CS/IT.
• Basic understanding of how a software works (Frontend, Backend, API, Database Schema etc)
• Good in Project Documentation (Proposal, Process Documentation, Technical requirements, Training Manual) Awareness of Relational (MySQL) and Non-Relational Databases (MongoDB)
• Good with data (Collection, Storage, Processing and Reporting)
• Knowledge of Bug tracking tools (ZOHO, JIRA) Exposure to different off the shelf solutions (ZOHO, Quickbooks, Greythr,Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Zapier, Survey Monkey, IVR, SMS)
• Past experience of handling multiple projects and project tracking.
• The Candidate will be responsible for documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. The Candidate should have prior experience of team handling including developers, designers, QA team.

Qualifications of Desired Candidate:

Education: Software Engineering + PGDM in Rural Management of Public Policy from IRMA, APU, IIFM, XIMB or Job experience with a Bank, Fintech, MFI company

Working experience: Have worked as a Project Manager, Product Manager, Technical Support, Tech Consulting role, Analyst in IT in the previous organization.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 2- 5 yrs
