Praan foundation is looking for Volunteers who can work with their 24*7 Crisis helpline.
The Volunteer for Crisis Helpline is responsible for answering calls received through the helpline which is a 24-hour crisis support centre.
This responsibilities of the Volunteers are to listen, empathise, crisis intervention and providing information and/or referrals to the individuals calling on the crisis helpline. As a Volunteer you'd be expected to maintain and keep track of the information shared during the calls.
How would this benifit you!
1. We would be providing Training to the enrolled Volunteers, on how to handle incoming calls.
2. Certificates for the training sessions.( Various periodic training during your stint as a Volunteer to improve your skills)
3. Letter of recommendation towards the end of your volunteership.
4. Opportunity to work and learn from the experts in field.
5. Access to other resources. Ex- newsletters.
What we require from you?
1. 4 hours a day, 12 Hours a week.
2. 6 months commitment.
