Associate Consultants (ACs) are a vital part of the Bridgespan Group’s core consulting strength. ACs along with their team work closely and directly with clients to solve most complex social issues. AC’s add value to various aspects of problem solving for the client, research and powerful data analyses being just one of them.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

Each AC’s responsibilities will vary from case to case depending on the needs of the client. Typical AC case responsibilities include:

Developing deep understanding of community and client context which drive our answers
Developing understanding of structural, and behavioral aspects which lead to inequities in societies and communities to arrive at inclusive and equitable solutions
Interacting with key external stakeholders like nonprofit leaders, funders, domain experts, government officials/ministers, and communities
Conducting research and analysis to draw insights
Advancing team’s work with own questions, perspectives, and insights.  
Participate in joint problem-solving sessions with mid-level and senior-level clients
Creating compelling storylines and client deliverables
Contribute to Bridgespan’s knowledge capture, creation and dissemination
Playing an active role in building office culture and team building activities


Qualifications:

1+ years of  work experience and strong academic background
Excellent analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and sense and awareness about key social challenges
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Well-rounded interpersonal skills with high emotional quotient
Demonstrated capacity to build strong senior client relationships, and work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated passion and commitment to working in the social sector and on society’s most important challenges
