This includes the Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy (CSIP), which aims at being the foremost Centre in India for research and capacity-building towards the critical advancement of social impact. The Centre’s research focuses on critical topics in the space of social impact, in strategic philanthropy in particular, with emphasis on applied research.
About the Role:
Centre of Social Impact and Philanthropy is looking for a Programme Manager in Capacity Building specifically for Strategic Nonprofit Management—India (SNMI) and other programmes for philanthropists and CSR leaders. The candidate should have the flexibility to work on multiple projects, display a natural aptitude for new programmess, work with multiple stakeholders, have a deadline-driven approach and be a team player. The candidate should be able to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of SNMI, including communications and outreach, managing external relationships, scholarships and logistics of the annual program.
Create and execute programmes for philanthropists and CSR audiences.
Identify partners, including academic institutions, nonprofit organisations, philanthropists and other similar stakeholders.
Engage in and support senior level leadership in donor management and relationship building by way of creating reports and communication materials for donors.
Design and execute large networking and learning events, conferences, and workshops for all the relevant partners and stakeholders.
Conceptualise and propose other avenues and opportunities that Ashoka University can engage with SNMI alumni to scale their organisations and themselves as leaders in social impact in India.
Requirements
Education & Experience
A master’s degree with work experience on people development or been a part of leadership programs.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with minimum 2-3 years of field experience including in a mentoring/managerial role.
Experience of organising events, workshops and seminars is desirable.
Strong verbal communication skills and display a high level of creativity
Highly entrepreneurial, self-starter with a deep understanding of the development sector and its challenges.
Ability to manage and engage with multiple partners.
An appreciation and understanding of investing in self-development to build leadership qualities
Ability to work remotely and manage multiple work streams simultaneously.

Location:
Based in NCR, or elsewhere with travel to Sonepat 3-4 days a week. Regular travel to partner locations and workshops.
