Compile compelling evidence to demonstrate the overall effectiveness of Natural Farming.
Key responsibilities

1. Develop funding proposals for research continuity.
2. 2.Create an exhaustive list of areas of research and corresponding institutes for partnership; carry out a gap analysis and prioritise research activities required to make a compelling case for Natural Farming.
3. Identify and establish collaboration with national and international research organisations.
4. Plan and coordinate various research studies and establish common frameworks and standards.
5. Develop research frameworks required for evidence creation.
6. Promote research capacity building among community-based organisations, research and academic institutions for Natural Farming.
7. Plan, implement and maintain data collection and coordinate the collection and analysis of research data.
8. Plan and coordinate the staffing of research studies.

Qualifications
Deep passion for Natural Farming, Sustainable Agriculture, Agroecology and nurturing ecosystems. A minimum of 2 years of experience in agriculture and farming-related research work and advocacy including a demonstrable track record of leadership and project management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Working knowledge of at least two other Indian languages. Relevant academic qualifications will be useful.

Base Location

Successful candidates are expected to relocate to Hyderabad after travel restrictions due to Covid-19 are lifted, and it is safe to move. Field visits, as and when needed, are part of the job.
