Job Type: Full Time, Fixed-Term contract (contract renewable on an annual basis)
Reporting To: Regional Manager
Job Profile:
In the designated position, the incumbent will be responsible for
Organisational Image Building: Represent the organisation in the processes of networking, media relations, identification of partners, meetings with external stake holders, campaigning & event management, stake holders’ relationship building.
Programme Development and Management: Supporting the Project team in establishing programmes/projects in terms of strategic planning, implementation, processes, and approvals.
Sponsorship Development and Management: Integration of sponsorship into projects; Analysis and monitoring of sponsorship communication/activities; Capacity building of the programme and project team on Sponsorship activities.
Human Resource Management: Team building; Support Project team in recruitment, selection, appointments, performance appraisals, exits, compensation, grievance resolution, training & capacity building relating to projects; Training and capacity building of the project team
Documentation, research and reporting: Conceiving and designing of project plans, training and capacity building, performance tracking systems, financial systems, research and write proposal in coordination with Regional Manager; Reporting to the regional manager as regards to progress of the projects/statutory requirements – internal and external
Knowledge Management: Capturing the learning of the experiences of the programmes and its dissemination to various stake holders through the Regional Manager ; Responsible for contributing to the region’s Management Information System
Monitoring and evaluation: monitoring and evaluation of projects/programmes
Monitoring the performance of project team members and providing support for required interventions
Resource mobilization: Support the Regional Manager in the fund raising/resource mobilization initiatives with specific emphasis on identification of prospective donors, negotiations and follow up
Financial Management: Responsible for proper fund management in relation to the project/programmes. Responsible for budgets allocated to the projects and its smooth management
JOB CHARACTERISTICS: Organization and domain knowledge Communication, Interpersonal, teamwork, analytical, mobility, time-management, observation, documentation, innovation, public relation, basic finance and account, computing, local language, negotiating and leadership skills.
Candidate Specification:
Incumbent should be a Post Graduate in Social Work/ Development Studies or any other relevant field with two to three years of work experience in the development sector especially at the grass root level project/s. Should possess good communication skills – verbal & written English communication;
Should possess skills in documentation, report /proposal writing;
Incumbent should be prepared to travel and stay in rural areas as per the organizational requirements.
Compensation Range:
Monthly Gross Compensation of INR. 50,000 to 65,000
