The Dialogue, a public-policy think-tank based out of New Delhi, is looking to hire a *Programme Manager* starting February 2021 (preferably). The Programme Manager will lead on our research and engagement around Platform Regulation and allied issues. The candidate will be expected to work from home until at least 31st March 2021.

This is a leadership position and we are looking for someone with the ability to take initiative and lead projects. Domain expertise is ideal as well as the ability to be a high-standard generalist, who is able to marshal the various resources available to them. The candidate must have the ability to lead a team through concerted effort, focused on delivering the highest quality research in a time-bound manner.

2. Job Description 

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, as assigned by the board, contributing to the strategic growth of the organization. 
• Assist in building and maintaining relations with the strategic network of The Dialogue. 
• Design and lead in research studies and government engagement. 
• Assist with key strategic development initiatives for The Dialogue. 
• Execute, end-to-end, key short term and long-term projects of the organisation, especially in the field of capacity development, engagement and research. 

3. Abilities Required

• Strong analytical skills; 
• Good writing and communication skills; 
• Good quantitative skills with an ability to analyse and represent data accurately; 
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player; 
• Ability to multi-task and deliver quality work in a timely way; 
• Objective thinking and openness to ideas.

4. Eligibility 

• Subject Matter Expertise on issues around intermediary liability, online safety, encryption and internet freedom is desirable.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to crunch large data sets and develop insights. 
• Work Experience – Three to Five Years.
• A postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with experience in Primary and Empirical Research would be preferred.
