Roles & Responsibilities

1. Regular School Visit to gauge the relevance, use and challenges of the programme.
2. Responsible for database management- update of information of schools and enrolled
teachers.
3. Training of enrolled teachers, students and community members on the following and any
other training – PET waste management as per the IEC material provided, visit
schools/Community for delivery of sessions and conducting activities as per the plan.
4. You will be allocated 100 schools. Mandatory to visits 2 schools per day for cluster
allocated
5. Liaison with village panchayat, panchayat secretary and other stakeholders.
6. Responsible for the systematic use of waste products in school and in community.
7. Change the mind-set of students in the schools and community towards waste
management. The facilitator assists the scrap dealer in identifying waste management
gaps, enabling the students through best out of waste projects and educating IDPs to
improve waste management practices, with the long-term goal of improving behaviour
change.
8. The team member also assists the rag picker to collect the segregated waste from the
community.
9. Performing all other tasks and responsibilities assigned for the benefit of project Pursue
with a generous and serving spirit.
10. Identify waste management gaps through surveys and data analysis.
11. Responsible for organizing and conducting workshop/ summer camps/ Centralized
Training for the students as and when required.
12. Any other work assigned by the line manager.
Other: Salary commensurate with experience.
