Position: PROGRAMME ASSOCIATE, BEHAVIOURAL INSIGHTS UNIT, UTTAR PRADESH (UP-BIU)

Location: Haryana

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate will support the State BIU team in achieving its deliverables, encompassing:

Communications: Crafting reports, presentations, and materials for project visibility to funders, partners, and other stakeholders.

Design Assistance: Assist in the creation of impactful SBCC collaterals, creating mock-ups, and crafting audiovisual content (using Canva, Kinemaster etc.).

Partner Relations: Ensuring clear briefings and progress updates to key stakeholders and partner organizations.

Project Management: Generating updates, stakeholder analysis, organizing meetings, and ensuring accurate information flow

Scenario & Scale-up Planning: Forecasting scenarios, risk analysis, and planning for adaptation. Analyzing government structures for intervention scale-up.

Financial Management: Handling financial reports, updating forecasts, and managing project-related contracts.

Fieldwork Support: Assisting CSBC team in UP fieldwork as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, social sciences, communications, public policy, sociology or related fields;

A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the development sector, preferably in Public Health

Strong writing and documentation skills, especially production of executive briefings and presentations

Expertise in crafting visually appealing graphics and audiovisual content, proficient in the utilisation of tools such as Canva.

Experience working in Uttar Pradesh is an advantage, but not necessary;

Fluency in English and Hindi (essential)
